Trulet

Terms of use

These terms cover how you use Trulet. Please read them before you post a listing or message anyone.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

Who we are

Trulet is operated by Peak Pareto Pty Ltd. The service connects private property owners with renters so they can deal with each other directly. We are not a party to any tenancy, we are not agents, and we do not handle rent or bonds.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to use Trulet, and the details you give us must be accurate. One account per person. Every account confirms it is not an agent, not acting for an agent, and not employed by one. That declaration is a condition of use. Break it and your account ends.

Your content

You own the words and photos you post. You give us a licence to display them on the service so renters can find your place. You promise your listings and photos are truthful, current, and yours to post.

The house rules apply

Our house rules are part of these terms. Read them here: House rules.

What we may do

We can review, decline, hide, or remove any listing. We can suspend or ban accounts that break the rules. We read every report a person sends us. Our decisions are final, though you can appeal by email.

What we do not promise

We review listings, but we cannot guarantee any listing, person, or property. Inspect a place in person before you pay anyone anything. Bonds belong with your state bond authority, never with us. See the bond guide.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Privacy

We explain what we collect and why in our privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change matters, we will let you know. If you keep using Trulet after that, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
